Project highlights

Healthentia React Native Javascript

For Healthentia, I transformed an unstable Android health app prototype into a viable product through critical bug fixing and stabilization. My efforts eliminated persistent startup crashes, allowing the team to shift focus from firefighting to new feature development. Beyond core stability, I refined the UX for easier access to critical medical data, contributing to interface enhancements across authentication and data display flows.

Momsi React Native Node.js Express PostgreSQL

During a period of peak project demands for Momsi, I assumed full-stack ownership of both the React Native mobile app and its backend infrastructure. This involved redesigning the user onboarding experience to reduce confusion, rewriting error-prone Marketplace components, and implementing end-to-end features, from database schema design to frontend implementation. This project significantly propelled my growth, as I independently designed, built, and shipped production-ready features without direct supervision.

Key achievements

— Redesigned user onboarding experience
— Resolved critical errors in Marketplace functionality
— Implemented 15+ new features from scratch

Dinner in the Sky React Remix Typescript Node.js

My proudest achievement was the independent, end-to-end development of the Dinner in the Sky reservation system, a complete client-side solution built from initial concept to deployment. The web application streamlined customer bookings with real-time availability, while its robust admin panel empowered non-technical staff to dynamically manage reservations and content. Successfully taking this project from a nascent idea to a fully functional, maintainable application taught me invaluable lessons in translating vague requirements into concrete solutions.

Core features

— Real-time reservation management
— Dynamic content editing capabilities for non-technical staff
— Integrated payment and scheduling workflows

Transition to Academia

My time at Upriver provided a robust professional foundation, significantly accelerating my growth from a novice coder into a confident developer. The lessons learned, particularly from my mentor Andrei, continue to shape my approach to problem-solving and my understanding of what it means to deliver quality software.
